I wish we could just step into the shower and wash away all of our stupidity and sadness and uselessness and brokenness
Wash ourselves and come out completely clean
Then run out and play in any puddles we chose
Cover ourselves in any number of different messes we decide to step into
Cover ourselves in Confidence and Concern and Sunshine and Smiles
Until we get Worry and Wastefulness and Fear and Fractures smeared and smudged onto our bodies as we play
So we have to step into the shower and wash ourselves off again.
